The analysis of water samples is essential to identify the chemical, physical and microbiological parameters that determine the water quality.
The chemical-physical analysis reveals multiple parameters i.e. conductivity, pH, total hardness, chlorides, sulphates, sodium, nitrates, nitrites, fluorides, bromides, phosphates, ammonia, iron, organic substances and compares them against the standard values and ranges determined by law (Legislative Decree 31/2001).
The microbiological analysis can reveal the presence of E. Coli bacteria, coliform bacteria, Enterococci, Streptococci, etc., the so-called “indicator bacteria”, essential for determining the quality of the water and for defining its potability.
